Assist with the day-to-day operation of Park Theatre and the safe presentation of productions, hires and projects in Park200 and Park90. Responsibilities include supporting in-house productions, visiting companies and external hires, operating lighting, sound and effects, acting as Duty Technician, maintaining technical infrastructure and equipment, carrying out safety checks and maintenance, supporting accessible performances, and training new casual technical staff. The role requires knowledge of technical theatre practice, experience with ETC lighting desks, Yamaha sound systems, Dante operations and QLab, the ability to interpret technical plans, experience of fit-ups, technical rehearsals and get-outs, knowledge of health and safety, strong organisation and communication skills, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Desirable qualifications include Fire Marshal, First Aid at Work, Evac+ Chair and IOSH Managing Safely for Theatre & Production, with training provided where needed.
