HomeShield is seeking Pest Control Apprentices and provides company-paid training to help them become licensed Pest Control Technicians. Duties include inspecting and treating homes and businesses, preparing proposals and presentations, educating customers about service options and pest control solutions, working toward service and sales goals, and developing skills through training and experience. Candidates should have integrity, strong written and verbal communication, organization, a customer-focused mindset, a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record, reliable attendance, and the ability to handle equipment, use ladders, and work at heights. Applicants must pass state licensing exams, with training and licensing fees covered by the company. The full-time role pays $18 to $21 per hour and includes dental, fuel card, health, paid time off, paid training, and vision benefits.
