Provide high quality dispute resolution services for clients of the Family Relationship Centre, including intake, assessment, safety screening, support, referral advice and mediation. The role supports separating parents and families to reach child-focused agreements about parenting arrangements, and assists separating couples with property dispute resolution, including division of property pools and debt. Responsibilities include providing information and referrals, conducting family and property dispute resolution sessions, delivering group information and education sessions, maintaining case files and client data, contributing to quality improvement, and working collaboratively with internal teams and external community services. The position is based in Geelong and requires travel to other locations, with preparedness to work on a roster covering evening programs. Requirements include a recognised tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Family Law or a related discipline, a Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution with registration with the Attorney-General's Department, mediation and dispute resolution skills, experience in child, youth and family services, knowledge of family violence and relevant legislation, and a current driver's licence, Victorian Working with Children Check, Australia-wide Police Check and right to work in Australia.
