Stream is seeking an experienced MLRO to lead second line of defence monitoring and oversight responsibilities for financial crime. The role involves owning the oversight, maintenance and implementation of AML systems and controls, defining the oversight strategy, overseeing the financial crime framework, policies and procedures, completing monitoring reviews and risk assessments, managing training and external reporting obligations, reviewing management information, keeping up to date with regulatory developments, reviewing new relationships and products for financial crime impact, and completing annual MLRO reports and financial crime business-wide risk assessments. Applicants should have 2 to 3 years' experience as an MLRO in a fintech, start-up credit or payment services environment, 5 to 7 years' experience in financial crime roles, professional qualifications such as ICA Diploma or CAMS, strong communication, organisational and analytical skills, and a proficient understanding of UK financial services regulation, the MLRs, JMLSG guidance and the FCA Handbook. The role reports to the Director of Compliance, is based in London with a hybrid working policy, and offers £100,000 to £130,000 plus equity for full-time employees and benefits.
