Support the smooth running of Park Theatre in a creative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include acting as daytime Duty Manager, opening the building, setting up rooms and refreshments, welcoming visitors and external users, supporting Box Office, coordinating the theatre schedule, managing the volunteer ushers rota, and overseeing matinee performances. The role includes front of house management, customer service, Health and Safety responsibilities, accessibility support, show reporting and merchandise income. Applicants should have duty management experience, ideally in an arts venue with live performances, excellent customer service skills, experience with box office and event management systems such as Spektrix and Artifax, staff or volunteer rota management experience, and experience supporting patrons with access needs. The role requires a personable, calm, self-starting, reliable and detail-focused approach, plus a passion for new writing and theatre. Fire marshal training, first aid, Evac+ chair training, Health and Safety management training and a Personal Licence are desirable. Salary is £26,936 per annum, pro-rated to contract hours. The position is permanent and part time at 28 hours per week, with a proposed Tuesday to Saturday schedule starting at 9.30am.
