Provide holistic care for children in grades K1-5 through homework support, independent reading, weekly Bible lessons, age-appropriate enrichment activities, respectful play, and family engagement. Responsibilities include communicating with parents, completing yearly progress reports, setting up and cleaning classrooms, participating in special events and organizational activities, and maintaining cooperative relationships with staff. Applicants must meet Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care licensing requirements, complete required professional development and EEC training, pass a CORI/SORI background check, maintain current CPR and First Aid certification, provide an annual doctor's note confirming fitness to work, and have strong communication skills and a passion for ACCESS' mission. A bachelor's degree or studies in elementary education or a child-development field, bilingual English and Chinese skills, classroom experience, and mature Christian faith are preferred. The role follows the Boston Public Schools academic calendar, averages approximately 20 hours per week, and requires weekday after-school availability, bi-weekly staff meetings, monthly supervision, and participation in family dinners.
