Linden Tree Nursery Schools provide induction for volunteers covering the organisation, families served, policies and procedures, curriculum and daily practice. Volunteers are introduced to staff and management, the building, health and safety, fire procedures, the Froebelian approach, parents where appropriate, relevant confidential information, and daily tasks and routines. Volunteers must follow nursery policies and procedures, and those with unsupervised access to children are subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
