The Frankston Mental Health and Wellbeing Local is seeking a Psychosocial Wellbeing Navigator to assist consumers in discovering appropriate support and care. The role includes completing intake assessments, identifying and prioritising consumer needs, coordinating internal and external services, supporting recovery goals, providing advocacy, co-facilitating programs, offering emotional and social support, maintaining accurate records, collaborating with practitioners, and participating in supervision and service evaluation. Applicants require a minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health and at least one year of experience in a similar role. Higher qualifications in human services, social welfare, social work, or psychology are highly regarded. Applicants must have a National Police Check, current Working with Children Check for employment, evidence of the right to work in Australia, a current Victorian driver's licence, and 100 points of identification. Personal lived experience of mental health challenges or caring experience is desirable. Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and culturally and linguistically diverse people are encouraged to apply.
