Jamal Law Group is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic family lawyer to join its growing team. The ideal candidate has previous general litigation and or family law experience, good practice management skills, experience running files independently, and knowledge of a wide range of family law matters. Additional qualifications include membership in good standing with the Law Society of BC and eligibility to practise, legal entitlement to practise law in Canada, strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, collaborative teamwork, the ability to meet deadlines, discretion, exceptional judgment, and excellent client service skills. Lawyers manage their own caseload and expand their client base. Compensation is based on fees collected monthly, with lawyers working as independent contractors under a fee-sharing model. Depending on experience and competency, the firm may assign projects on existing client files, provide referrals to new clients, and assist with growing the lawyer's client base.
