The Procurement Specialist performs procurement activities to ensure the Court of Appeals is supplied with materials, equipment, and services. Duties include purchasing supplies, equipment, and services; processing purchase orders; coordinating with financial staff; managing vendors and contracts; tracking deliveries; maintaining procurement records; preparing reports; reconciling financial accounts; supporting audits; and responding to procurement, financial management, and travel requests. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and specialized procurement experience, with requirements varying by grade level. Knowledge of automated financial management and procurement systems, procurement record-keeping, procurement documentation, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat is required. The position reports to the Procurement Supervisor and is located in downtown Washington, DC. Limited telework may be available.
