VenaSeal™ Treatment

at The Whiteley Clinic · London

Details.

A minimally invasive treatment for varicose veins caused by faulty saphenous veins. A small catheter delivers medical adhesive under ultrasound guidance to seal the affected vein without heat and usually with only one small injection of local anaesthetic. It is suitable for patients who wish to avoid multiple injections or heat, including those with needle anxiety. A full consultation with duplex ultrasound is required to confirm suitability. Treatment is usually completed in one session for each affected vein, with most patients returning to normal activities on the same day. Compression stockings are often not required. Mild bruising, tenderness or discomfort may occur.
