Intended for chronic ischemic stroke survivors who have persistent moderate to severe hand and arm impairment despite active physical therapy. Patients are discharged the same day after implantation and begin in-clinic physical therapy after a one-week recovery. Surgery and rehabilitation are covered through most insurances.
