Enquire about test results by telephone between 13:00 and 15:00. Reception staff can pass the call to a doctor or nurse if necessary, or arrange an appointment or telephone consultation with the appropriate clinician. Test results can also be checked online. Blood test results normally take 4 working days and X-ray results normally take 7 to 10 working days. Results are released only to the person they relate to, unless prior permission has been given or the person is unable to understand the results.
