Screening involves an X-ray of the breast called a mammogram, taken by a female clinician. Available for women and some trans or non-binary people aged 50 to 71, every 3 years. The service for patients is provided by the West London Breast Screening Service at Charing Cross Hospital. Results are usually sent by letter within 2 to 3 weeks.
