Details.
A dental procedure for a badly decayed or infected tooth pulp. Treatment involves an initial examination and X-ray, local anaesthetic, isolation with a rubber dam, removal and cleaning of the infected pulp, medication or filling, and further treatment if required. A second appointment may include sealing the canals with Gutta Percha, an X-ray, and a permanent filling. A crown may be recommended to strengthen the tooth. The tooth may feel tender for a few days after treatment.
