Pregnancy consultations take place every two to four weeks at home or in the midwife room at Familienzentrum Kivi or the practice collective at Hobrechtstrasse 15. Topics include questions about pregnancy, birth preparation and the postpartum period. Care includes calculating the due date, weight and blood pressure checks, blood and urine tests, checking the uterus, listening to the baby's heartbeat and assessing the baby's position and size. Support is also provided for pregnancy complaints such as premature contractions, oedema, heartburn and varicose veins. Available for women from Kreuzberg and Neukölln.
