Suitable for pain related to arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, ligament injuries, and facet arthropathy. Treatment includes blood collection, centrifuge processing, local anesthetic, injection under fluoroscopy and/or ultrasound guidance, and a typical 10 to 30 minute recovery period. A session typically takes about 1 hour. Some individuals receive 1 to 3 injections spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, as determined by a specialist after consultation.
