Details.
Therapy focused on understanding your nervous system, needs, patterns, strengths, and the cost of masking. It can support ADHD and executive functioning, autism and sensory needs, masking and burnout, emotional intensity and regulation, rejection sensitivity, trauma and nervous system overwhelm, relationship patterns and communication, queer and trans identity with neurodivergence, shame from being misunderstood, boundaries, routines, self-advocacy, substance use or compulsive coping patterns, and work, school, or life transitions. The approach emphasizes support rather than pathologizing or forcing neurotypical performance, and can include planning, routines, boundaries, emotional regulation, realistic strategies, and exploring shame and burnout. A formal ADHD or autism diagnosis is not required.
