Minimally invasive removal of uterine fibroids using a laparoscope. The abdomen is inflated with carbon dioxide, and small incisions are used to remove and repair the fibroid. Usually requires one night of hospitalization, with approximately 2-3 weeks of recovery. Pregnancy is not recommended during the first 3-6 months after surgery.
