An intensive workshop covering editing and artistic direction, narrative sequencing, book design in InDesign, page layout, formats, paper selection, typography, covers, printing, binding, and project distribution. Participants complete a small printed and bound book mock-up. The workshop is intended for anyone interested in publishing and self-publishing photographic artist books. Participants must bring a laptop, InDesign, and printed and digitised sets of 30 and 65 images in 6x9 or 10x15 cm formats. No technical knowledge of layout software is required.
