Indirect dental restorations used to rebuild a tooth that has lost significant structure due to decay or trauma. Inlays fit into the tooth, while onlays sit on top of the remaining tooth structure. Available in porcelain, gold or composite, subject to dentist assessment. The treatment requires two appointments: tooth preparation and impressions at the first appointment, followed by fitting and permanent cementing at the second appointment. Fabrication can take up to two weeks.
