Details.
Cyanoacrylate glue treatment for deeper, invisible varicose veins causing visible varicose veins. A catheter is inserted through a small puncture site and ultrasound imaging guides the injection of glue to permanently seal the diseased vein. The procedure is performed as an outpatient with minor discomfort and typically requires minimal time off work. Visible varicose veins may also be treated with ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy at the same time. Suitability is discussed during consultation, and a customised treatment plan may be provided.
