Details.
A minimally invasive carpal tunnel release procedure using a high-definition endoscope through a single small wrist incision, typically less than 1 centimetre. The transverse carpal ligament is divided to decompress the median nerve. Suitable for confirmed carpal tunnel syndrome with failed conservative treatment, moderate to severe nerve compression, and suitable anatomy. Performed as a day case under local or general anaesthesia. Open surgery may be preferred for revision cases, complex anatomy, or patient preference. GP referrals welcome.
