A structured interview based on DSM-IV criteria that assesses ADHD symptoms during childhood and adulthood, including attention deficit, hyperactivity and impulsivity, age of onset, and impairment across different areas of life. The interview usually takes around one and a half hours to complete. It should preferably be conducted with a partner or family member present to provide supplementary information.
