Details.
A minimally invasive, one-time treatment for early to moderate keratoconus. The procedure involves removing the outer layer of the cornea, applying riboflavin eye drops for about 30 minutes, and exposing the cornea to UVA light for another 30 minutes. A bandage contact lens, antibiotic eye drops and an overnight protective shield are provided after treatment. Mild discomfort may occur for 1 to 2 days, with healing generally taking 2 to 3 days and return to normal activities in about a week.
