Details.

Qualification for workers in community or residential settings who provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or another reason. Includes classroom training, online training and work-based training, with self-directed learning included in all programs. Students must complete at least 120 hours of direct support work at a care facility. Students have up to 12 months to complete the qualification. Entry requirements include willingness to obtain required police, working with children and NDIS worker screening checks, access to a computer and stable internet, and a working microphone and camera for online programs. A Language, Literacy and Numeracy test and a Unique Student Identifier are also required.
