Details.

Qualification for workers in community or residential settings who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or another reason. Includes classroom training, online training and work-based training, with self-directed learning in all programs. Students must complete at least 120 hours of direct support work at a care facility. Students have up to 12 months to complete the qualification. Entry requirements include willingness to obtain a National Police Check and an NDIS Workers Screening Check, access to a computer, stable internet, and a working microphone and camera for online programs. Students must complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy test, achieve the appropriate ACSF LLN level, provide a Unique Student Identifier, and provide evidence of eligible citizenship or residency status. Electives may change depending on student needs or requirements.
