Medicare Rebates

With a valid GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan, you can receive a rebate of $93.35 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Eligibility must be confirmed with your GP. Private health fund rebates may also be available if covered. Private sessions do not require a GP referral but do not receive a Medicare rebate. Medicare rebates do not apply to couples therapy or family therapy.

Psychology Supervision

Psychology supervision in a nurturing and professional environment, including one-on-one sessions and peer consultation. Services support psychologists to enhance their skills, gain new insights, address practice challenges, deepen therapeutic techniques, navigate complex cases and fulfil licensure requirements. Psychology supervision fees are $180 per hour.

Family counselling and therapy to help strengthen relationships between family members by improving communication, understanding and support. One-hour sessions cost $180. Medicare rebates do not apply to family therapy.

Individual therapy for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders and PTSD. Sessions are tailored to each individual to help them understand their feelings and develop strategies to cope with their emotions. One-hour sessions cost $180.
