With a valid GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan, you can receive a rebate of $93.35 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Eligibility must be confirmed with your GP. Private health fund rebates may also be available if covered. Private sessions do not require a GP referral but do not receive a Medicare rebate. Medicare rebates do not apply to couples therapy or family therapy.
