Powerlifting event featuring powerlifting, squat only, bench press only and deadlift only categories. Events are open to youth, junior and masters lifters. PA medals are awarded for first, second and third in all categories, all lifters are placed in Open and their age group, and trophies are awarded for best lifters. The event is subject to WADA compliant drug testing.

Dolphins Powerlifting Open 2026
Sat, 31 Oct
An all comers powerlifting event at the home of the NRL team the Redcliffe Dolphins, and the last chance to qualify for the World Championships. Events include powerlifting, bench press and deadlift. All events are open to Youth, Junior and Masters competitors. PA medals are awarded for first, second and third in all categories, all lifters are placed in Open and their age group, and trophies are awarded for Best Lifters. The event is subject to WADA compliant event drug testing, and all lifters are also subject to out of competition testing.

World Powerlifting Championships 2026
Thu, 3 Dec
Australia will field a big team at the peak event for 2026. Australian lifters and coaches can review the Championships details and apply by email. Team lifters must complete the PA Team Code of Conduct and wear the new PA lifter uniform. Coaches must be PA NCAS accredited.

Calendar Obtain information & enter online here for all Powerlifting Australia competitions in 2020. All competitors, Coaches & Referees at all PA events must be current & financial PA members. All events are subject to ASADA drug-testing & all PA members are subject year-round to the PA Anti-Doping Policy. All contests are Raw and Equipped.
