You may be eligible for a vulnerable bursary if you are aged between 16 and 19, have educational financial need and are in care or have recently left local authority care, receive Income Support or Universal Credit, receive Disability Living Allowance in your name and either Employment and Support Allowance or Universal Credit, or receive Personal Independence Payment in your name and either Employment and Support Allowance or Universal Credit.
