Translations are charged by standard lines according to the German Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act. One standard line, defined as 55 characters including spaces, costs 1.95 EUR for editable text or 2.15 EUR for non-editable text, plus 19% VAT. Presentations, websites, brochures and other documents requiring substantial formatting may be billed at 93.00 EUR per hour or at a fixed price, plus 19% VAT. Certification of the translation's accuracy and completeness is included in the price.
