From 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2026, eligible Citibank customers who purchase qualifying AIA insurance plans may receive one preferential 2-month SGD or USD Time Deposit interest rate offer for each eligible plan issued during the Promotion Period. Rates range from 4.00% p.a. to 16.00% p.a., depending on the eligible plan category and qualifying annualised, single premium or multi-pay premium amount. The 2-month Time Deposit must be placed no later than 31 January 2027, after eligible plan inception. Minimum placement amounts are SGD 10,000 or USD equivalent for rates marked B, and SGD 5,000 or USD equivalent for rates marked C. Maximum placement amounts are subject to the applicable premium-based limits. Eligible customers must satisfy the stated eligibility criteria, including not having free-looked an issued policy in the previous six months and subsequently resubmitted an eligible plan application during the Promotion Period. Preferential rates may be changed or withdrawn during the Promotion Period with notice. Once the funds are deposited and the 2-month Time Deposit is established, the applied rate is fixed until maturity.
