iRepair Zone is looking for a full-time Workshop Technician to join its London store on a 40-hour contract. Responsibilities include identifying and repairing faults such as broken screens, battery replacements, charge port issues, back glass, rear camera replacements and software issues on smartphones; testing and diagnosing iPhone, iPad, game consoles, Apple computers and wearables; replacing parts and repairing mobile phones, tablets and other small devices; meeting daily and monthly repair targets; maintaining equipment; recording repairs, maintenance and parts used; following quality and safety policies; and taking responsibility for the workbench, tools and equipment. The role may also involve overseeing the maintenance and operation of the company's general store. At least one year's professional or informal experience repairing smartphones is desirable but not essential.
