Voluntary six month fixed term role working from home for 2 to 3 hours per week in the Up Skill division, accountable to the Senior Committee. Lead the development and facilitation of workshops with specialty experts and content creators, establish learning objectives and measurable outcomes, manage one or two projects, oversee junior staff and support the delivery of events and workshops. Duties include initiating projects, liaising with health professionals and senior leaders, managing event schedules and resources, facilitating workshops, arranging stakeholder meetings, setting project milestones, reporting progress, escalating risks and supervising staff. The role requires substantial project management or event management experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, access to a computer and internet with a webcam, Microsoft package experience, effective written and verbal communication, strong organisational skills, the ability to work autonomously from home and attendance at flexible mandatory fortnightly meetings. Volunteers receive access to career development resources and professional one-to-one mentoring, and work may contribute to CPD accreditations. The role is suitable for those wishing to enhance existing leadership skills.
