Details.
Access All Areas is looking for volunteers to support its Performance Making Diploma and Take Part programmes. Volunteers can work creatively alongside students and participants as a creative partner, provide access support including note-taking, accessing sensory tools and repeating instructions, support the devising of performances, perform alongside participants as on-stage creative support or in forum theatre workshop exercises, and attend theatre trips. Opportunities include one class a week for a 10 week term, Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 8pm or Friday mornings from 10am to 1pm, the intensive week in June or July 2026, or joining Take Part programmes on Thursdays. Volunteers gain experience within an established production company's methodology, develop creative ideas, take part in inclusive performance-making, build their toolkit for inclusive creative work, and work with emerging learning disabled and autistic artists. Access All Areas provides an enhanced DBS check, safeguarding training, a taster session, support from the Take Part and Train team, and a briefing before each session.
