Access All Areas is looking for volunteers to support Take Part programmes in Hackney on Thursdays. Volunteers may welcome participants, take part in creative workshops, provide access support including note-taking and accessing sensory tools, support the devising of performances, and perform alongside participants as on-stage creative support or in forum theatre workshop exercises. Volunteers receive an enhanced DBS check, safeguarding training, a taster session before committing to a term, support and information throughout the placement, and a short briefing before each session. Volunteers can join one or several projects: Spring Back, focused on resilience and wellbeing, from 10.30am to 12pm; Departure Lounge, focused on play and improvisation, from 1pm to 2.30pm; and Black Cab Company, focused on community theatre, from 3pm to 5pm.
