Support the day to day operations of the Ignite Food Store in Emerton. Duties include picking up and unloading goods, receiving goods at the back dock, preparing and stacking shelves, following pricing guidelines, maintaining store and pantry cleanliness, responding to customer enquiries, assisting customers with shopping, returning trolleys, and accompanying drivers on pickups and deliveries when required. Volunteers are expected to understand and support the mission and ethos of Jesuit Social Services, comply with relevant legislation and organisational policies, hold a valid Working with Children Check, and successfully complete an interview and Police Check, provided at no cost to volunteers.
