Support and resource the Western Sydney team to develop, strengthen and broaden community engagement among schools, and assist the Director with administration and coordination of the school engagement program. Responsibilities include complying with relevant legislation and Jesuit Social Services policies and procedures, supporting program development through feedback and continuous improvement, and coordinating food drives and volunteering programs across the Store, Parish and School at Emerton, Community Hub at Willmot and Open Pantry at Blackett. Applicants need strong communication and relational skills with young people, teachers, educational leaders and priests, a strong commitment to privacy and confidentiality, and the ability to volunteer autonomously. Experience in social justice and education-related fields is required, with volunteer experience in public, independent or Catholic school contexts preferred but not essential. A valid Working with Children Check and successful Police Check are required before commencement.
