Goodwin seeks a highly qualified senior attorney to join its Venture Capital Debt practice within the broader Debt Finance group. Qualified candidates will have experience representing borrowers and their investors in venture debt, growth capital, and similar financing transactions for early and late-stage companies. Responsibilities include negotiating and drafting loan and related documents, advising on transaction structures, supporting deal execution and internal forms initiatives, preparing forms, and leveraging AI-driven models to support markups of term sheets, credit agreements, collateral documents, certificates, and customary credit deliverables. The attorney will work closely with M&A, corporate, and finance attorneys across the Emerging Companies, Life Sciences, M&A, and Venture Capital practices. Candidates should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the resident office's location. The target salary range is $250,000 to $350,000, commensurate with relevant experience.
