Goodwin seeks a highly qualified associate in the J.D. Class of 2022-2023 to join its Tax practice. Candidates should have 3-4 years of experience in general transactional tax work. The tax group works closely with the corporate practice and advises clients on corporate mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; partnerships, LLCs and other joint ventures; private equity and private equity fund formation; real estate, real estate fund formation and real estate investment trusts; regulated investment companies; and financing and capital markets transactions. Candidates must have experience working in teams and managing substantial components of transactions independently, outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
