Under30Experiences is seeking Trip Leaders, also known as Tour Leaders, local to Costa Rica to lead groups of up to 16 travelers ages 21 to 35. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, handling traveler questions and concerns, following established itineraries, making reservations and confirmations, tracking daily expenses, accompanying travelers, and fostering community. Applicants need 3+ years of experience guiding tours in Costa Rica, a passion for adventure travel, leadership and communication skills, local knowledge, fluency in English and Spanish, valid CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification, knowledge of local Tico culture, and experience with hiking, whitewater rafting, canopy tours, and swimming. The role requires being away from home for five to nine days at a time. Under30Experiences was accepting applications for professional guides from November 2024 to May 2025.
