The Brandenburg branch is seeking a team lead for financial accounting with a focus on controlling in Cottbus, working 30 to 35 hours per week. Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, preparing project cost statements, reviewing cost centres, reconciling accounts, monitoring fixed assets, supporting liquidity planning and payment transactions, preparing reports and key figures, contributing to budget planning, forecasts and cost analyses, analysing cost and earnings developments, and supporting the development of controlling tools, financial processes and digitalisation projects. Candidates should have completed commercial training with further qualification as a financial or balance sheet accountant, or a degree focused on accounting, finance or controlling. The role requires confident use of accounting systems, analytical and structured working methods, initiative, responsibility, teamwork, communication skills, reliability, flexibility and discretion. Experience with Microsoft 365, relevant professional experience and leadership experience are desirable.
