Provide person-centred, trauma-informed support to a young adult with complex mental health needs, safeguarding risks and vulnerability to exploitation. Duties include 24/7 in-house support, 1:1 or 2:1 community support, mental health monitoring, medication support, promoting independence, safeguarding and risk management, relationship building and advocacy. Applicants should have experience supporting people with mental health conditions, trauma or exploitation risks, knowledge of Section 117 MHA aftercare, Community DOLS and safeguarding, strong communication skills, emotional resilience, an enhanced DBS check for adults and eligibility to work in the UK. Level 2 or 3 Health and Social Care qualifications and training in PBS, trauma-informed care or MAPA/PMVA are desirable. Evening and weekend work, sleep-ins and lone working may be required. Training and ongoing supervision are provided. The role is based in Brighton and pays £14 to £15 per hour based on experience and rota.
