Alliotts is looking for an experienced Senior Manager to provide advisory and consultancy support across a broad range of corporate tax projects. This permanent full-time role, based in the London Southampton Street, Covent Garden corporate tax team, offers hybrid working options. The role has overall responsibility for the compliance work of a portfolio of corporate tax clients, including large companies, owner managed businesses, groups and sector specific companies, and is approximately 80% advisory and 20% compliance. Responsibilities include tax consultancy assignments such as reorganisations, R&D tax, share schemes, property hive ups and international tax, identifying tax planning opportunities, preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns, monitoring submissions to HMRC, advising clients on tax liabilities, managing client queries and relationships, managing work in progress and billing, mentoring junior staff, and travelling to the Guildford office and client sites when required. Applicants should be CTA qualified or ACCA or ACA qualified with relevant experience, with significant corporate tax and accountancy practice experience, experience managing a client compliance portfolio and detailed HMRC enquiries, strong communication and organisational skills, and experience managing people. Knowledge of CCH and Alphatax is advantageous, with full training provided.
