Permanent full-time trainee role in the Guildford Audit and Accounts team, with hybrid working options, full training and support, and opportunities for a long-term career and progression. Responsibilities include building working relationships with colleagues and clients, developing technical knowledge through on-the-job training and formal qualifications, using software to provide accurate information and reporting, producing profit and loss accounts and balance sheets, preparing basic tax computations and returns, preparing working papers and reconciliations, helping prepare statutory and final accounts, and assisting with audit testing and stock counts. Applicants may apply after A-Levels with grades A, B, B or equivalent qualifications, or as university students who have achieved or are predicted to achieve a 2:1 or above. GCSE Maths and English at grade 5 or above are required, along with written and verbal communication skills, strong IT and Excel skills, attention to detail, a positive and proactive attitude, teamwork and self-motivation, willingness to undertake professional studies, and willingness to travel to clients and other offices. Relevant work experience is helpful but not essential.
