Meridian Lawyers' Seasonal Clerkship Program is for students in their penultimate or final year studying a law degree at university. The four-week Melbourne intake runs during November and December 2026. Clerks learn about the firm and its practice areas, gain insights from working in the health law practice area, and take on responsibilities for real matters from day one, which may include observing lawyers in client meetings, attending court, and drafting correspondence. The program includes mentoring by Principal Lawyers and senior team members, a buddy from a previous clerkship, professional development training, hybrid work arrangements, benefits, and social and networking events. Successful applicants may participate in phone and face-to-face interviews with the People and Culture team, a Principal Lawyer, and a senior team member.
