Permanent, full-time role at The Satellite School, responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating targeted interventions that help pupils overcome barriers to learning and personal development. The role focuses on improving attainment in phonics, English and mathematics, while developing pupils' social understanding, safety awareness and communication skills. Duties include delivering small-group and individual interventions, including Read Write Inc. phonics, running structured 6 to 8 week programmes linked to PSHE, online safety, communication and social interaction, monitoring progress using assessment information, and mentoring Learning Support Assistants. Applicants should have experience delivering targeted academic interventions and working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition or additional needs. Essential requirements include knowledge of phonics teaching, literacy intervention, autism and neurodiversity, safeguarding and progress monitoring, together with a degree or equivalent qualification in inclusion, literacy intervention or SEND.
