Deliver education to individual and small groups of students across Key Stages 1 to 5, using creative approaches to support their academic potential. Responsibilities include teaching up to 30 hours per week, preparing tailored lesson plans, delivering English, Maths and Science to at least foundation GCSE level, entering students for agreed qualifications, marking and tracking progress, writing reports, providing pastoral care, supporting teaching assistants, completing Lesson Tracker records, covering sessions, supporting lesson observations, and liaising with students, families, professionals and the Teaching and Learning team. The role also includes completing risk assessments, updating Individual Education Plans, following safeguarding and health and safety procedures, attending training and meetings, approving timesheets and managing expenses. Applicants should have an honours degree or equivalent professional qualification, or relevant professional experience working with young people in education, GCSE level grades A*-C or equivalent in English, Maths and Science, experience delivering high-quality lessons, and knowledge of the current curriculum, SEN and behavioural needs, teaching practices, pedagogy and safeguarding. Creative, organised, adaptable and proactive team players with strong communication, administration and IT skills are sought. Qualified Teacher Status, relevant A-levels, creative environment experience, a creative background and charity experience are desirable. The role is based onsite and/or offsite across London Zones 1 to 6, is full time, and pays from £30,317.93 FTE per annum. The post holder will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
