Lead research and data activities for BGP's Re:Match social-innovation project, transforming fragmented evidence into actionable insights and supporting the matching algorithm and monitoring and evaluation. Responsibilities include researching German municipal labour-market data and Ukrainian refugee skills datasets, mapping and documenting data sources, engaging municipalities, refugees and labour-market experts, ensuring data quality, translating research findings into technical requirements, designing surveys, analysing statistics and visualising KPIs. The role requires a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, at least 3 years of quantitative or mixed-methods research experience in labour-market or migration topics, working knowledge of Python, R or Stata, GDPR and research-ethics knowledge, very good English and at least B1 German or willingness to reach B1 within 12 months. Experience with refugee integration, workforce matching or civic-tech projects and knowledge of EU social-fund reporting are desirable. The position is remote-friendly with CET core hours, occasional travel to Germany and some late-afternoon or early-evening CET calls. It is fixed-term until 31 December 2026, subject to funding, with salary in line with the German non-profit sector at TV-L 12-13 equivalent, 30 days' annual leave and public holidays where based.
